THE OUTSIDERS
adapted by Christopher Sergel from the book by S.E. Hinton
Teen/Young Adult Drama
directed by John Lynd

THE OUTSIDERS tells the story of the ongoing conflict between the Greasers and the Socs in rural Oklahoma. The story follows the life of Ponyboy, the youngest of three orphaned boys who pal around with the local hoods known as the Greasers.

When Ponyboy and his friend get into a deadly confrontation one night, the two go on the run from the cops, and grow up quickly when they realize the insignificance of their petty posturing.

YOU’RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN
based on the comic strip "Peanuts" by Charles M. Schulz
Children’s Theatre Workshop- Musical
directed by Chris Diehl

In 1984, YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN was the very first CCCT production. This delightful musical-comedy, based on the comic strip "Peanuts", gives us a glimpse of an average day in the life of Charlie Brown.

From Valentine's Day to baseball season, from wild optimism to utter despair, the lives of Charlie Brown and his friends are strung together from a bright uncertain morning to a hopeful starlit evening.

Suitable for the young, and the young at heart.

Auditions:  July 12 and 13, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Performances:  August 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, 30

A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE

Mainstage Classic Drama Production

Tennessee Williams’ remarkable 1947 masterpiece remains just as powerful and shocking today, which may explain why it is rarely done by community theaters. CCT is proud to bring this classic story of Blanche DuBois and Stanley Kowalski (characters made immortal on film by Vivien Leigh and Marlon Brando) to our stage.

Auditions: July 20, 6-9 p.m. and July 22 , 7:30 - 10 p.m.

Performances: September 19, 20, 26, 27, 28, October 3, 4, 5, 10, 11
